Main Task- Pitch Feedback
Generally i received positive feedback, my plot idea accumulated intriguing comments, particularly in terms of how i was going to portray some of the ideas, for example, the drug use of heroin which is shown during the film, in answer to this i would use a syringe, however for safety reasons during filming would not use a needle, instead i would show the syringe close to the skin with a dark fluid (similar to the look of heroin) inside and would then do a close up shot of the syringe being pushed down as the liquid is dispersed, then a shot of the actors reaction to this. A concern was the genre of the film, some peers stated their feeling of the film being drama rather than thriller, especially since i compared it to Danny Boyle's 'Trainspotting', however i explained that i only used this comparison for the shots of which this film uses rather than the storyline. I believe the type of shots i use and the editing techniques i use will enhance the film in being of the thriller genre.
